Praise be to Allah!

Hockey playoffs start Thursday and this homeboy from Hockeytown couldn’t be happier. The next two weeks are THE best two weeks in the sports year. Detroit starts off with a series against Nashville (why does Nashville have a hockey team?!?!?!) that will hopefully start their run as the Western conference champs. (Why is Detroit in the Western Division while they’re in the Eastern Time Zone?!?!?!)

Things I’ve learned….

1)  You can’t trust what people say they’re going to do or what they believe in. When the chips are down, they’re misanthropes. Very few people hold themselves to the same standards they believe in.

2)  When people start pointing the finger of blame at others, they’re actually pointing it at themselves. They’re quick to point out the faults in others but won’t accept their own.
3)  There are very few people you can count on. Be thankful of the ones you can.
