R.I.P. Frank Rosenthal – June 12, 1929 – October 13, 2008

Just found out he died on a few months ago. For those of you who don’t know who he was, he was one of the greatest football handicappers in Las Vegas during the 70’s and 80’s and was portrayed by Robert DeNiro in the film Casino.  He was a hero of mine because he was the first person to bring the sports book into a  casino.  He was a Las Vegas legend and an unsung hero of American history.
